Our Approach

At your first visit, you can expect that Kirstie will work to obtain a comprehensive understanding of your concerns and develop a treatment plan aimed at modifying your thoughts and behaviors. Kirstie has extensive experience in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which focuses on changing your behaviors and modifying your thoughts to positively impact your mood. Kirste offers Exposure and Ritual Prevention, which is a specialized form of CBT and the gold standard treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Kirstie has been trained and verified in the treatment of body focused repetitive behaviors such as trichotillomania and skin picking. When it comes to the treatment of eating disorders, Kirstie utilizes an approach rooted in CBT. Kirstie may also incorporate other evidence-based treatments to meet your needs.
